The name of this series is "Friend Portraits" because I made three portraits on illustrator of people I know. I always like working on illustrator and when I made my self portrait I really enjoyed it with the style. Making portraits of my friends is something I enjoy. That is why I choose to make a portrait series. Portraits Artist is a career like this. But I could make it a digital portrait drawing artist. The meaning behind this series is bringing out the personality in a portrait of my friends. They express themselves in a picture and I make a digital drawing of the portrait. It is fun to do and I enjoy it. After making this series I increasing my skill with the pen tool and learned how to make features of the face more accurately to express the emotion of the person.

This is a media product for the Tesla Model X Falcon Wing. The car itself has "falcon wing doors" that open upward for design purposes and increased accessibility. My media poster used the Tesla logo as the wings of the car because the "T" in Tesla's logo curves just like the car's falcon wing design. This idea shows Tesla's brand while advertising the Model X at the same time, with simplicity and eye-catching symbols. I believe this media design would be successful because the two thing that stand out for this car is the brand, Tesla, and the falcon wings. Along with those two significant features, the actual car in this media design is not detailed in order to concentrate the attention on the major advertised part of the car. This is the Model X media design for Tesla.
Artist’s Statement:
In this series of abstract art my pieces are all colored lines that flow to great unique figures. I got this idea from seeing other artist use the brush tool to make unique brushes. I am calling the series of abstract art “Multi-colored Flows,” this is because the lines all flow and follow a certain pattern while shifting colors. The most enjoyable part of making these pieces was the freedom of making anything you want because abstract art is not supposed to represent anything. The hardest part was fixing the flow of the lines because if one line was messed up, all the others would want to follow that line in the wrong direction. My favorite one of the series is the second one which is the circular shaped orange/yellow piece. The tool I learned was the blending tool with changing the options to specific steps so I could make unique flows of lines. The series represents freedom by the flows going in personal directs and just imagination in general. 1. Andrew Fairclough: I like Andrew Fairclough’s art because he makes digital art that has a 1950’s comic style, but he makes modern cray art with that style. He adds a lot of good detail to the peoples hair and features.
2. Kagaya Yutaka: His digital art is very colorful and has a fairy theme. The art looks realistic. 3. Erik Spiekermann: I like how he uses words to make images and has the words dense to make darker colors and spread around for lighter colors. 4. Timothy Goodman: I like how he has a lot of cartoony images together to make a wall of art. His art is very busy. 5. Chuck Close: I like Close’s art because he creates the illusion of a portrait from a lot of little colored squares. It looks like a photo, but its just squares with certain colors to make an image. 6. Patrick Bremer: Patrick Bremer’s art is really good because he takes pieces of newspapers or magazines to make images of people or animals. I like the colors he uses because it's subtle but also catches your eyes. 7. Andy Gilmore: I like the shapes and colors Gilmore uses in his art. He uses a lot of lines and shapes to make shard looking art. 8. Justin Maller: His art is really amazing because he makes really good art out of separate shapes. He can make animals and movie characters from just tons of shapes. 9. Alberto Seveso: I like his art because he mixes models with colorful smoke or fog material. The colorful smoke is very detailed and has interesting shapes. 10. Benjamin Voldman: Voldman’s art is three-dimensional, colorful, and cartoony. It looks really clear and smooth and the art comes to life when me makes some of them a 3D gif. |
